Case Ulvila - never-ending story

One of the weirdest and most interesting cases in Finnish criminal history is still unsolved. The murder of Jukka S. Lahti took place in December 2006 in Ulvila and in 2009 Anneli Auer, the wife of the victim was suspected for the murder.

Anneli Auer was sentenced to life term imprisonment by the Satakunta district court in 2010 for killing her husband. The sentence was overturned by the court of appeal in 2011. The supreme court rejected both previous judgements and ordered new trial of the case.

The re-trail has been going on at Satakunta district court since the end of August.
